The 25-year blueprint draft for Queensland's primary industries has reached the stage of public consultation, and AgForce encourages all members and producers to take this opportunity to provide your input on how we shape the future of agriculture for future years. The Primary Industries Prosper 2050 will represent the goals of the agriculture industry and should reflect where producers and agribusinesses want to go, with 5-year action plans being developed to target production, such as the Queensland Biosecurity Strategy and Timber Action Plan.

Public consultation is open until 5.00pm on 9 June 2025. There is a survey, webinars and consultation events and drop-in hubs running until the 6th of June in regional areas.

You can take the survey here Take Survey

The webinars will provide information, seek feedback and ideas from participants and answer questions. The link to RSVP to these webinars is here Department of Primary Industries | Queensland primary industries 25-year blueprint

The regional information sessions will be running across Queensland, and AgForce’s goal is to attend most of them. If you want to engage with the Government on this project, the dates for the events and to RSVP can be found here Department of Primary Industries | Queensland primary industries 25-year blueprint

There will also be drop-information hubs at FarmFest ,  Hort Connections and Rotary FNQ Field Days | Mareeba | 28, 29, 30th May 2025

This is an important opportunity for you to offer your perspective on how we should be producing Queensland’s finest food and fibre for the years to come.
