Primary producers in eligible local areas may be able to access:

 
Exclusion Fence Restitution Program to provide grants, the department is working with Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) and regional organisations to develop guidelines for affected producers. More information will be available online soon and circulated to all Local Government areas. It is important to keep all records and receipts for replacement, repair and earthworks activity on exclusion fencing as these will be required to process your claims. Activity will be eligible from 5 April 2025.

For Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants, the maximum grant amount is $75,000:

  • An initial amount of up to $5,000
  • A subsequent amount of up to $70,000
