AgForce is supporting a TAFE Queensland initiative to deliver free electrical safety awareness training for rural areas.
Running as part of Electrical Safety Week, this hour-long, online introductory course provides foundation skills in how to work safely with electrical equipment, while managing risks in rural workplaces.
The training will raise awareness of electrical safety issues and help with the induction of new workers as well as refreshing the skills and knowledge of existing workers.
It also features the successful free lookupandlive.com powerline safety app that enables businesses across a range of industries to adequately plan work near powerlines to adhere to their Workplace Health and Electrical Safety obligations.
