Rural Jobs & Skills Alliance (RJSA)

The Rural Jobs & Skills Alliance (RJSA) consists of industry members and government. It provides leadership and advice to government, service providers and other organisations on employment, skills, industry training and workforce planning issues on behalf of Queensland’s agriculture industries. It is managed by QFF and works in conjunction with AgForce and its member industries. The AgForce Schools Industry Partnership Project (SIPP) and the revamped Gateway Schools for Agribusiness program are important components of the overall Alliance member efforts to streamline programs so that on-ground activities are more coordinated and more visible to all stakeholders. The aim of the Queensland Agriculture Workforce Network (QAWN) is to provide a regional focus based on regional fruit and vegetable grower organisations.

AgForce Training aims to keep you informed and equipped to deal with the latest industry issues and opportunities in skills and training. Our training programs provide members and non-members with nationally accredited training covering a range of practical skills such as chemical accreditation and land management. These courses are offered as face-to-face workshops, by correspondence and online. Please contact us to discuss your training needs (07 3236 3100 or training@agforceqld.org.au.
