Pest Animal Management and Chemical Safety Workshops

Want to learn new techniques on how to manage pest animals on your land? Get ahead of the game and access the most up-to-date tools to manage pest animals.

AgForce is rolling out 50 one-day, no cost workshops to train landholders in chemical handling safety and the latest pest management techniques.

These one-day workshops for landholders will include practical training and information on the latest pest animal control tools including the new canid pest ejectors and PAPP baits. Included in these workshops is nationally accredited chemical handling safety training for safely preparing, delivering, transporting and storing chemicals.

Participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment after completing training and assessment in the following units: 
    1. AHCCHM303 - Prepare and apply chemicals; and 
    2. AHCCHM304 - Transport, handle and store chemicals 
The workshops are targeted specifically to Queensland primary producers, landholders, managers & employees involved in pest management and chemical handling on rural properties.
